Outage in New Port Richey (West Pasco)
11:20 EDT: Heads up in west Pasco if you're without service.
There appears to be a hardware or line issue in New Port Richey. My modem dropped offline around 10:15 and I called BHN support.
The rep confirmed we're in an "outage area" but (in typical fashion) couldn't tell me if it was limited to our street, the neighborhood, or was wider in scope.
He also could not give me any clues on the nature of the problem, nor could he provide any ETR.
UPDATE: 14:20 - Still down. Made another call and was told a hub is down. Rep couldn't tell me how many subscribers are on a hub, but said it was "more than 50".
Anybody know how many users a hub typically serves?
UPDATE: 16:00 - Service returned a few minutes ago, for a total outage of just under 6 hours.
I'm still curious how many users are on a hub, on average.
