new DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem
I want to stop using out my old DOCSIS 2.0 cable modem and buy a new DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem. Does anybody know were I can get a DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem? Are DOCSIS 3.0 modems as cheap as DOCSIS 2.0 modems?

It is my understanding that no DOCSIS 3.0 modems have been fully certified yet. Pretty much guaranteed that the 3.0 modems will be pricey when they first hit the market. Since no cable systems are using DOCSIS 3.0 yet, why do you want to get one of the modems now? If you wait, the prices will come down, and the inevitable teething pains of new technology will get solved (better firmware, etc.).
