hello, my name is eric and i install internet, phone & TV based on cables technology
one of the modems we install is the RCA 235, well i think its that model.
well the thing is, when we install it, what we usually do with the other brands of modems(Motorola,Thomson,Terayon) is we go into the diagnostics page and set the initial scan frequency so the modem will sync' a lot faster...

my obvious question about this modem is , how the heck and is it possible to even do that with this one ?

i searched this forum a bit and found the /moreinfo.html page where i can see the power levels and stuff
but is there a way to force it to initially scan a manual frequency which i set ?
