CableOne's website is unreachable. Looks like they're down. Been like that for a few days now. Also, their DNS servers are the ones that my system is pointed to. And also my download speed is totally trashed, down to a dialup speed.

I just upgraded to a new motherboard which is the DFI LanParty UT NF3 250GB. It has the NVidia hardware firewall built in. It took Smoothwall's place. A moment of silence while I shed some tears of sadness. Okay I'm through. I'm looking for good things from NVidia's firewall.

But hey, in case the speed problems I'm getting from CableOne's DNS servers is tied to their website problem, I was wondering if there are some fast DNS servers out there that one can connect to instead of the default servers CableOne has.

BTW: My surfing speed is excellent. I can see a definate improvement after going to the DFI board. I've also been to the tweak tools and made the necessary adjustments. I'm getting a big thumbs up there.

So any help you can be with that other DNS servers question would be great. I hope I haven't posted this in the wrong place. None of the other forums seemed apropo.
