Default Installing coaxial outlet, best type of cable?

I'm gonna be getting cable internet soon and I'm gonna run the cable coaxial outlet to my office myself. I know how to do this and I know the procedure, but there's one thing I have to know. Is there like a "best cable" type to use?

My connection is going to be 4mb download and 512k upload, I need the best quality cable to get the most out of my connection.....or am I just looking for a fiber optic cable?

RG-6 Tri Shield will work. You can also use Quad Shield if you cant find the Tri Shield, it just cost a little more.

Just worth repeating. If you don't use high enough quality cable, you will have problems.

I don't know who your cable company is, but Time Warner sells the cable they recommend/use in any length you want and are even cheaper than Home Depot.

Also, if you are going to need a splitter, make sure to check with your cable operator to find out what rating they recommend on the splitter.
