Default Help configuring Belkin Wireless N router with media

I try to run the router's setup disc and I get to the part where I have to choose my ISP but they don't have mediacom listed. I've tried setting things up manually on the router's home page but mediacom never provided me with any information regarding my connection settings. I've tried calling tech support 4 times already and it's getting old, was wondering if there was a firmware update for the Belkin router that provides the automatic setup with mediacom. Using Belkin Wireless N, F5D8236-4 v3. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just hook it up as per the directions.
Routers work best right out of the box.
Make sure you Unplug your modem power while you hook router up.
After all is connected properly. Plug in modem power first. After all the lights sync up, then plug in your router power.
If you had already changed settings for router, follow this next if unable to get online:
Push and hold the Reset button (look for one that is recessed and not a button that sticks out). Hold it in for 20 seconds. You may need a pen or paper clip for this.
This should work. You do not need to run any software unless you want to setup some special wireless settings.
If you need more help, the router mfg should be able to help you further.
Remember it should be setup to obtain an IP address automatically (DHCP) if you are looking at router settings.
The Reset button will put it back to DHCP automatically.
    Good Luck
