Been having somewhat regular spikes in latency/ping times, seemingly between late afternoon into the night until the AM hours, over the last couple weeks. I use Charter HSI 10/1 service on a Motorola SB5120 cable modem, no router. Live in Western Massachusetts, and Charter is my only choice for cable internet. The latency averages 250-350ms, pages load slowly and online gaming/VoIP is pretty bad. However the issue seems to magically resolve itself, only to pop up again a day or two later around the same times of day I mentioned. Resetting the modem does nothing, and my ISP prevents me from logging into the modem via web interface.
