Default How to test your speed now with Powerboost?

Now that Powerboost seems to be widespread, how do I get an accurate read on my speeds as compared with a few days ago when I didn't have Powerboost. The reason I ask is that I'm on a 5mb plan and I usually got 5-5.3 so I was happy. Now, with Powerboost, I get 6 maybe 7, nothing to scream about. However, my other computer, which is on wireless, is now getting about 1-1.5mb and it always got 4.7 to 5.2. I wish I could turn powerboost off, so I can see what my real readings are. I've reset my modem/router, uninstalled/reinstalled my wireless adapter and it's made no improvement. Also, it seems my pings, according to Speedtest, went from 15-20 up into the 50-60's. Can't say that was right after powerboost went into effect, though. I used to do speedtests every day so I know what the numbers should be. Now, I have no baseline to go by.

You can't. Speedtests are now useless. ISPs want it that way. That way when they don't provide the speeds advertised you no longer have proof of it. Powerboost has been and will always be a scam.

Use a program like DUMETER to graph your actual speed. Or I just log into my m0n0wall box and notice it burst to about 20mbps before it settles around 5mbps.
