    Default Comcast Audio Video Sync Issue

    i have a motorola set top box from comcast and am experiencing audio video sync issues. the problem is only with HD broadcasts and not with regular digital broadcasts. When connected to the tv with component cables i dont experience this, problem seems to happen with HDMI cables.

    If it helps i have a vizio 37 inch lcd.

    I have a DCT-3416i Comcast box and I'm noticing this based on certain channels and certain shows .. so it's not always the case. also I've seen it on both component and HDMI so i think its just something we gotta live with since there is Isn't a guaranteed fix for it. you're post is from 2007 and now its 2010 and still same issues.

    I had the issue with my old box, and now with my box with HDMI input. Change the channel and change back and it goes away.. for awhile...
