Moving to Cox San Diego serviced area
Hello everyone,
I am moving to Escondido from Temecula and leaving FIOS behind. The area I am moving into is a Cox serviced area and am wondering what to expect as far as service goes. I see they are currently offering a 10mbit and a 20mbit package, however a press release I read earlier stated higher speeds.
With DOCSIS 3 near, I'd guess it would be in my best interests to purchase my own 3.0 compatible modem. Any preferences? Motorola SB6120?

Motorola SB6120 is very good cable modem
Motorola SB6120 is very good cable modem hardware but I suggest you have to PM Coxtech people to get firmware update for your Motorola SB6120 if you really plan to bought it.
