Just got FIOS but now audio is LOW
After two years of enduring the less-than-stellar quality of DishNetwork, we finally switched to Verizon FIOS here near Seattle. While any sort of change requires at least a small adjustment, we're finding that so far the service is quite satisfactory.
However, one area that's a bit confusing is that the audio from two of our three HDTV's is now significantly lower than before -- almost unacceptably so. Yes, the TV remote is turned up, but even with the "audio bar" maxed out, the small kitchen TV sound just disappears when there's any cooking activity and the bedroom TV is also just inadequate enough that we're often missing important movie dialogue.
My question is: what's causing this and what can we do about it? (The installing tech was both pleasant and seemingly knowledgeable so I can give him a call next week but I'm curious if anyone else has experience with this challenge.)

Re: Just got FIOS but now audio is LOW
Assuming you're using analog audio connections (red/white cables) from the FiOS box to the TV(s), check to see if the FiOS box has an audio level/volume adjustment.
