Netflix streaming with Sony N460
I just got my Sony player connected to my network yesterday. The Netflix streaming is good, plays perfectly. Here is my question. With my DSL connection, the picture is pretty pixelated. I am getting Cable Internet installed next week. With the improved speeds of Cable vs. DSL, will the resolution of the streaming improve? Or am I seeing the best picture that I will see. I just bought a Netgear XAVB2001 Powerline Wireless adapter. Any recommendations on anything to try.

It all depends, hopefully improved internet speeds will translate to better pic but a lot will depend on the speed and transmission properties of your wireless set-up.
Is it A / B / G / G+ / N ? and what type of signal strength do you have?

Re: Netflix streaming with Sony N460
Thanks for the quick reply.
I don't know much about these powerline adapters but they aren't rated like 802.11n or 802.11g. His cable speed of course will be important but I will assume the limiting factor will be whatever speed he can achieve through his electrical wiring and distance and a number of other things impact that. I believe the quality he achieves with the upgrade to cable from DSL will significant but he won't know until he gets it hooked up.
