    Default Help on Headend Interference

I am new to this forum and desperately need help. I actually am in charge of the Headend of our cable company, but actually there is some ugly interference in Channel 2 and Channel 6. The interference looks on TV as perfectly horizontal waves (around 1 inch tall on a 20 inches tv screen) that go from the bottom towards the top of the tv. Does anybody know or has experience in this kind of interference? What causes it? etc. Any help will be greatly apprecciated.
    Thanks

Sounds like hum bars to me. Check to make sure everything is grounded properly.
