I received an offer from mediacom with a promotion code and a toll free number to call them. Before I read all the terms, i called them for getting the 19.95 offer for internet. Somehow they made me believe that I need to agree on a 2 year contract, where I will receive 19.95 for the first year and 34.99 for the second, for which I agreed. Last day when I checked the original offer, I found that it required me to agree only for a 1 year contract. I also found that some of the customer service people in their local offices and even over the phone are rude.
