    Default How to copy from DVR to DVD recorder

    Would like to copy shows recorded on Comcast HD DVR to Panasonic DVD recorder. Is there an easy way to do this?

    Hook up an s-video or set of component cables, play it back on the DVR and record it on the DVD.

    That is about it, unless your DVD recorder has a Firewire port (and you are recording local broadcast channels - most others are protected by 5C encryption).
