After doing some research I discovered that the maker of TW's DVR also has a Multi-Room DVR solution. Where basically you get 1 DVR, then an additional set top box that can pull shows from the DVR for a 2nd TV set.

I decided to email my division to find out if they'll be offering this anytime soon. Heres the response. Of course I take it with a grain of salt:

At this time you can only watch recorded programs on the same settop box they were recorded on, but within the next 4-5 months we will begin offering a multi-room DVR service that will accomplish exactly what you're trying to do.
