    Default Dish 500 lnb

I recently installed a DISH 500 at my cabin and took my DISH 1000 receiver to run it. I think I must have the wrong LNB. It has both Sat 110 & 119 outputs. I installed an SW-21 on it. But when I run diagnostics, it says there’s a problem with the switch. I get half the channels, and the other half says they are not authorized. Is there a LNB that has a built in switch, or doesn’t need a switch?

What you want is a Dish Twin LNB. The 110 and 119 LNBs are combined into one physical casing and it has two outputs that can output signals from both satellites to up to two receivers without the need of any extra switches. If you need more outputs, the Quad LNB is the same thing but can be connected to up to four receivers.

    Default Dish Twin LNB

If the LNB is a DishPro or DishPro+ you will need a legacy adapter to make a 1000 work with it, contact a Dish Dealer and ask them
