One of the input signals is not working properly of my friends duo receiver 322.

I have setup my DVR 722 at my house without any problem using Dish 1000+. Good signals for both inputs. Both tvs work great.

However i dont know what kind of Dish my friend has but Single Receiver 311 works great but the Duo 322 does not.

One of the input signals are very week. We spend hours to find out why. When i exchange the input signals tv1 to tv2 (input) and tv2 to tv1 from the separator then the other signal is week. First i thought it is the separator. No matter how one of the input is always weak. I bought high end gold separator which at least gives a signal. The original separator from dish network delivers only signal to TV1 for example and no signal to TV2.

Then i thought maybe its the receiver. If i hook the incoming satellite cable directly to tv1 i get a perfect signal. If i connect to tv2 i get also a perfect signal. Both do not work with a separator.

Does it have anything to do with the Signal strength, the dish or the lnbs on the dish???
