My DSL versus RR Cable Turbo w/Powerboost
I have AT&T DSL.
Downstream Speed: 6.0 Mbps
Upstream Speed: 768 Kbps
I decided to try RR Cable 15/2 via TWC. After I had it installed, I ran a few speed test and everything read close to 30MB d/load and 1MB upload. Again, every time I ran these tests, I got 30/1.
The problem is that when I try to download anything from anywhere at anytime, the download speed is half my DSL, so anywhere around 3MB. Does cable really work for anyone? I read a lot of posts here regarding bad service and wondering if TWC is selling a lot of crap.
Anyone have any idea as to why I'm getting such bad speeds? I'm in North Hollywood, CA
