RG6 Cable
I just change from Satellite back to Cable TV. The quality on the analog channels is terrible. Rabbit ears might work better! The HD and digital channels are fine. My question is with the cable outside the house. This cable has been there for over 20 years. It’s been painted over a couple of times so there are no visible markings on it. The Tech told me it’s RG6 cable and it’s not the problem. That’s just the way analog looks. Does that sound right? How can he tell it’s RG6? Did they have RG6 20 years ago? Does cable degrade over time? Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.
