Windjammer Cable Outages I live in Palestine Texas (75803) and have not had internet, or TV for days now. The TV I can live without, but the loss of internet connection is killing me. Even though I am on vacation right now I still have to run some reports daily. Without an internet connection I am having to spend half of my vacation in the office. Even though I enjoy the speed I get from cable, I am about ready to toss my cable modem through a window @ the nearest Windjammer office on my way to get DSL. (If a Windjammer lawyer is reading, no I'm not really going to do that) Low bandwidth is better than no bandwidth. There was a switchover here recently from Time Warner to Windjammer, but they say that has been completed, and that there are no internet outages in my area. They also say that they cannot come out to fix this issue until the middle of next month. Aside from the switchover headache my cable or internet tends to be out about 2 or 3 days a week.
Re: Windjammer Cable Outages About 2 weeks ago someone posted this same exact information over at dslreports.com I tried to help them out. If you are still having problems call the florida headquarters. They will give you the regional managers number. He will get people working on the problem.

Re: Windjammer Cable Outages No problem. I know how frustrating it can be. About 5 weeks ago our internet was out too. I got ahold of the regional manager. It was fixed within a day of talking to him. Good luck.

Re: Windjammer Cable Outages No i live in Ohio. It wouldn't suprise me if someone else bought them out. I'm hoping suddenlink buys our area out because they are literally right across the river. Did you hear anything about who might buy windjammer? Thanks.

Re: Windjammer Cable Outages I'm in southeastern ohio in monroe county by the river in the hannibal, sardis area. I'm just hoping if windjammer sells out they sell to suddenlink who is right across the river because they are doing a lot of upgrading lately.
I was a tech with windjammer. I worked the hanible a couple of times.
Re: Windjammer Cable Outages That's cool. I have noticed windjammer has had a lot more techs in the area lately. We had a outage yesterday and windjammer was really on the ball. They were fixing it early this morning. Right now they seem to be doing a better job at keeping things up than time warner ever did in this area. Time warner just wanted rid of us i think.
