Making the transition to cable modem
I am finding it very hard making the transition from dial-up to cable. I don't have cable yet.
I love the safety net of dial-up. I have read the many horror stories on these forums about how broadband customers go hours or days without Internet connection. I'm not use to that.
I think it would be such a great option if cable gave customers an unlimited dial-up backup so that if & when the cable goes out then customers have dial-up backup.
The thought of not having Internet connection for several days is scary. LOL
